So, what is it all about? First of all, I started running yesterday again, after a little self-intervention I had and because of the nice weather. It’s been reaaaally long, since I moved my legs to some rhythms in a non-dancing way, so I went easy on myself, and did round about 5k. Starting slowly, you know. This was also the first opportunity to check out the ‘new’ Nike+GPS app I had for quite some time now, and it turned out to be pretty neat. I uploaded the run to my profile, so you can check it out here – and now also see a replay of my track through Schönbrunn. Unfortunately it’s all embedded in Flash, so I can’t include it here.

Cats

OK, now switch of topic. I stumbled across a sweet little page called booksOfAdam, where the writer Adam Ellis posts in short stories about his life, and gives it a nice extra touch by adding little drawings to make them complete. I like the way and style of his cartoons, and also the writing, so maybe you will too. Here’s all the info you probably might need: page – twitter – facebook. To cut down the wait

As these are unfortunately still stored somewhere without any postproduction, it’s time for me to upload a little footage I still owe you, which was in fact the first try with the helmet-camera beginning of december 2010. I am aware that the cut and camera-angle are sh*t, but hey … I’ll try to improve.

Dieses Video sorgt zwar zurzeit auf jeder zweiten Seite im Internet für Furore, aber vielleicht kennt es ja jemand doch noch nicht. Ich finds einfach nur impressive, was heutzutage schon technologisch möglich ist – der Weg für Skynet scheint geebnet :)

after i’ve just seen Hell’s Kitchen for the first time in my life, i have to say that i really liked it. i’m a guy who’s kinda into the whole cooking-thingy, and therefore i watched some german cooking-shows at home – but nothing like that i’ve seen there.

it’s kind of a mixture between ‘Jamie’s Kitchen’ (Jamie Oliver), ‘Big Brother’ and ‘StarMania’. means there are about 10 female and male sous-chefs who are trained in cooking under enormous pressure (realtime-cooking in a restaurant) by a famous cook, and every show one guy has to leave.

for those of you who have the possiblity (and i know there are some), give it a try – you might like it.

yepp, who cares about independence day anymore when there’s one of the best movies gonna be aired on the same date? even if i never read a single transformers-comic, i really got some kind of fanboy for that movie. just check out one of the amazing HD trailers and you will see why (yeah, i know that this movie will only score with special effects – but who cares?!)
