as i reported some weeks ago, there is this amazing software called Photosynth currently getting developed through Microsoft. now the guys for Redmond updated their site with a new collection showing pictures from the a space-shuttle station. you can acutally test photosynth yourself at this page, only requires some activeX control. keep in mind, that all the pictures there are just as normal as the ones you take yourself, it is the metadata that does the trick. give it a try!
