tips for productive students (yes, there are some)
even though the new semester at my university is still far away, there are some tips for being a more productive student and using the advantages of the world wide available information. readwriteweb.com has put them all together and sorted them in a nice way for you. check them out here.

I’m not a fan of this online-only applications. I ever really jumped on the web 2.0 train I guess.
not related to the topic but are you still using vista?
nope. unfortunatly my laptop is just not strong enough to handle vista in a fluently way. due to that i changed back to xp (again..).
btw: i’m not using online-office replacements and lots of the stuff postet either, but some of the tools i like and also use recently (del.icio.us, for example)
You don’t miss anything when you’re not using Vista. First you are happy about the new features and the shiny look but once you encountered serious troubles because of the security stuff it’s a pain in the ass.
I sync, save and share my bookmarks across my computers using the google firefox bookmark snyc plugin. So I don’t need something like del.icio.us, nevertheless I like it when someone is linking me his del.icio.us bookmarks concerning a special topic when I need infos.
yepp, that’s also the way i see it.
i use foxmarks instead of google sync btw.

Since I slept exactly 53 minutes (5:02am till 5:55am) last night to finish my preparations for the workshop today, I’m gonna head home early today. Have a nice working day in the US! ;)
