WriteLn(”Hello, Earth!”);

a guy in germany actually “wrote” the world biggest “Hello World”-program (forevergeek.com). might be hard to beat him, if you have any suggest let me know as a comment.

If you’ve ever had a programming class, then you probably had to write a program that showed the phrase “Hello World!” when executed. It is a practice that has been used since 1974, but so far, no one has ever written it like this German programmer did.

What did was basically write the phrase Hello World in SemaCode and then put that code in a crop field, which resulted in the image that you see above. Although only a select few people will be able to understand what it means, it’s a nice thing to bookmark on Google Earth to show to your friends.
